Short-term upgrade of XP mobo

I'm currently using a K7S5A mobo, maxed out with 512MB (2x256) of DDR226 and an XP 2600. I don't think the time is right yet to upgrade to an XP64, and actually rarely need more processing power than I've got, but I am missing:

o Firewire
o USB2
o Large disk support, maybe with SATA

(And occasionally more than 512MB would be useful too).

As an uninstall of Visual Studio over the weekend appears to have left my Win 2000 system unstable, I'm facing an OS reinstall -- which I hate. And if I'm going to do that then I'm going to do it on a mobo that fixes the above issues, and maybe upgarde to Win XP Pro whilst I'm at it.

As this is an interim solution until we get a stable 64 bit OS and see what if anything that actually brings us, I want to reuse my CPU and memory, and don't want to spend a fortune on an old technology motherboard, but the recommendations in the latest Budget systems guide don't meet these requirements. And anything else seems a bit expensive.

I looked for an older roundup, but couldn't find one.... Can anyone suggest a good value mobo that would meet my needs?

Thanks,

ian

Im not positive but I think Mach Speed makes a board with those specs and they are very inexpensive and have lifetime warrenties.
