short term car leases in kansas

does anyone know of anyone that does short term leases, of about say a month for automobiles around the KC area in Kansas?

i'm here for a bit, and i need to use a car for at least a month, if not more. car rental prices are ridiculous. they run at least $650 per month for a compact. so anything less than that is what i'm looking to do.

i don't care about the type of car. all that matters to me is some form or reliable transport.

There are normally a few crappy long term car rental places everywhere I've lived. Around here (Nevada) we have Rent-a-Wreck, and it's maybe $200 bucks a month for a mid 90s sedan type. Mainly just good for drug deals, but I won't pry.

deal drugs! lol! nice little chuckle there for me... thank you. 🙂 but it so happens that they have a RAW in the town i'm in right now... i'll give them a try before i head off to enterprise.

as for enterprise, that's who i'm going through right now. i see they keep the weekly rate even for a month. worse comes to worse, i'll continue with that.
