....Nimda virus/worm info... have much trouble because of people that have
this worm/virus and constantly spread it without knowing it...so some info:

...if your system is already infected, you'll find load.exe 57344 Bytes
in your Windows directory...

If you are using MS IE 5.0 browser you should download this update
If you are using MS IE 5.5 browser you should download this update
...or your browser will download the virus without to ask you as soon as
you visit an infected website...after the update it will at least ask...

...if no website infects your system...an e-mail still can...if you are using
software that uses Internet Explorer for viewing e-mails, like Microsoft
Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Lotus Notes, AK-Mail..the updates above
protect you from uncontrollable execution of the attachment...normally the
name is readme.exe...

The virus/worm is 4 days old...time to update your antivirus software...

the ISP that hosts it got flooded.... with "why did you help him make a virus" email from stupid people.

That is when you have your email autorespond with why did you open it stupid?

This thing is EVERYWHERE! We've gotten call after call yesterday and today so far from people whom "think" they have this virus! I do know Ameren UE in MO has it in their systems and at least at some locations have shut down all Email & Internet use.....
