If you come up to Seattle, Pike Place Market is a must see, in my opinion. I just love wandering around there, very fun.

Oregon? Go wine tasting! I also found the Portland rose garden to be really pretty, a good place to go and eat lunch.

Definitely go wine tasting in Oregon as HotChic said. Hit the Willamette Valley and spend a few days drinking some Pinot Noir.

I plan to visitin in the end of may. Going for 5 days, not sure if I can make it up to Seattle. What do you all think? More time in Oregon spread the 5 days out to Oregon and Seattle?

tough call. I live in Washington and have been going to Oregon the last few years for fun.
If you like the grind of a massive road trip, do both.
Someone mentioned wines and wineries. If that is your thing, I would check out the Roseburg-Umpqua Valley area. The mountains east of there are really beautiful, up the river and in the Tokatee Falls area.

If It were up to me, I'd plan on a return trip to Washington, and have fun in Oregon this time.
Next time blast through Oregon, and settle in Washington for a week:)

Only takes 4 hours to drive top to bottom though. :p

<--- California - driving top to bottom you'd better pack your lunch.

If you're leaving from St. Louis, make sure you bring enough ammo to shoot game with. and don't bring any small children, they always die of dysentary

If the weather is nice I suggest visiting Multnomah Falls or if you are along the coast Canon Beach.
I haven't been able to go anyplace else yet. :(
