Short circuits and sparks

You know those big 500,000 volt transmission lines. Sometimes the various phases are arranged vertically instead of horizontally.

I was thinking that if you shot out an insulator on one and had the cable fall so that it touched another cable, it would make a pretty good spark.

Anyone seen this sort of thing first hand?

Oh, and just in case anyone's got some ideas. Please don't shoot at transmission line insulators. It's not big and it's not clever.
