Just to provide another sample, I order from NewEgg all the time.

Before shoprunner, I would always get my packages in 3 days. After shoprunner, it's always two days.

So for at least one person, it works and it's worth it. /shrug

Looked like a good deal to me, so I went for it. As I was shopping over at Newegg a product had this underneath the summary: $7.87 Shipping (restrictions apply) ShopRunner FREE 2-Day Shipping Paid for itself already if I decide to buy that item. Thanks OP. Why has my formatting turned off??

Looks like this deal is over, but I want to leave a small warning anyways. It did get my some free 2 day shipping (that would have cost, not their normal free shipping) but on another item it didn't work. So, even though this is over, it works for some items (quite nicely I might add) but not for others.

Just a word of warning in case this comes up again. So far it's already saved me money though.

P.S. This transaction was through Newegg.

you didn't say what it didn't work for? I am just curious since you posted.

not all items on newegg are shop runner eligible. You can filter your search for them. In my experience most items are covered, but shopping for cases, I have found many of them are not

I used it to buy hairball stuff from drugstore.com, $3.29 and normally like $7 or some such to ship when total is less than $25. Worked fine, as said the catch is that some items don't have the "shoprunner" symbol and are not included, and only a few dozen places work with it for now at all.

Is it worth a $1, thats a no brainer. Is it worth more than $1, not clear at all yet.

Bought a 200mm fan last week for 20 bucks. If would have been 7 dollars shipping, but with with shoprunner I ordered wednesday night and got it friday afternoon free shipping.

Also no delivery charge from dominos which I put towards tip now!

Sorry, it was a 23lb case, ended up costing $9.99 which was still pretty good for something that large and heavy.

As you browse the egg while logged into dealrunner it will show you if it's free right on the product page, it puts it under the normal shipping cost. I'm pretty happy I decided to do this even though the big-old case wasn't covered.

You can try it free for 30 days, but be careful because if you don't cancel it, it will end up costing you like $20-30 bucks if I'm not mistaking.

Shoprunner and Amazon Prime have this quirk that if an item can get to you in 2 business days ground, it will ship ground. Unfortunately UPS and Fedex ground doesn't guarantee specific delivery times for ground service, so it can sometimes take 3 days for actual delivery. This is where the bulk of complaints arise from.

Fortunately for most people this doesn't happen very often.

Expect to see the deal repeated with variations.

I missed it also, however, I signed up for the 30 day free trial as I had things at NewEgg and Toys R Us I wanted to buy. I went to cancel the membership and a screen came up to extend the trial FREE for 90 more days. If I use ShopRunner for 3 purchases in that 90 days, they'll extend it to a free year!

Since I'm in the market for speakers and a couple other PC parts, I figure I'll easily hit the 3 purchase requirement.
