Shopping for first car...

It will be a car that's owned by my family and not solely me, so the upside is that I get a lot of help paying for this thing...

I was wondering if anyone knows when the 2005 Accord Hybrid is coming, or when any of the 2005 models should arrive. Seems like this would be a nice choice since it's an already nice car, coupled with pretty low fuel consumption.

If you really want to get the Accord Hybrid, you still need to check your local dealorship to see if there is a large number of preorders. I don't believe the waiting list for the Accord Hybrid is as long as the next generation Prius was released.

Thanks... so, somewhere between late december and january, I guess...

Do dealerships get the test drive models early, or do they come on the same day?

Hmm... at $30000, that is a rather expensive car... think I'd rather get a BMW 325i if I were to spend that much. =/

Also taking a glance at the Mazda 6, but it's not really a family car, right.

Tax credit, supposedly both pres candidates are serious about jacking it back up to the 4-5k range.

Besides, the 325i is slow as hell.
