I'm looking for a good scanner for around $100...any recommendations?
I mostly want to scan photos (for archiving and retouching in photoshop), negatives, and drawings (pencil and ink). A couple that I'm looking at are the Visioneer OneTouch 7300 and the Epson Perfection 1670 Photo scanners. I'd prefer one that will scan negatives, but it's not a necessity. I just want a good one.
I'd also like one that has a scanning area of 11 x 17" (A3 format), but I've only found one and it doesn't look too hot (Resolution: Optical 400dpi x 800dpi), plus the price is way more than I want to fork out for a scanner. So that's not a big deal.
Suggestions appreciated
