I think we would probably use it a lot, but I dont see the point in spending a ton of money.

Any advice from people who have a grill that they really like/would recommend.

If not I will just go pick up a $200 one at walmart or sears

If you can wait, I'd suggest picking one up around October or so. We got one from Sears that was about $350 in July for like $199. Huge 5-burner, top quality. When in doubt, go with Weber.

I just bought a Jenn-Air 3 burner stainless steel grill from Lowes a couple weeks ago. I didn't really want to spend as much as I did on it but man is it nice. This thing will last a loooong time!

DAMN you two, those are expensive :)

Yep, that's the one I have sitting on my patio! :)

BTW-It weighs almost 250lbs without the tank!!! :Q I bought the fitted cover that goes over it and I'm probably going to pick up the rotisserie unit soon.

I slow cooked some BBQ ribs last Saturday, heat was kept at a constant 220 degrees for 2 hours. Nice!!! :D

Best for most; all are high-scoring medium-sized grills:
1 Vermont Castings, $400, CR Best Buy
5 Char-Broil, $270, CR Best Buy
7 BBQ Grillware, $200, CR Best Buy

Top performance and shelf space make the Vermont Castings VM400XBP (Home Depot) (1) a fine choice. The Char-Broil Advantage Series 463453305 (Lowes) (5) adds a side burner, griddle, more cooking space, and better searing, though it lacks a fully rolling cart. Consider the BBQ Grillware GSF-2616 (Lowes) (7) for its fine searing and long-warranty burners.

If you often cook for a crowd:
22 Great Outdoors, $500, CR Best Buy
23 Char-Broil, $500, CR Best Buy

Both deliver lots of cooking space for the price and are mostly stainless steel. Though both stained the most in our salt-spray tests, the stains weren't severe. Between the two, better searing, more shelf space, and an infrared rotisserie burner give the Great Outdoors Pinnacle TG-560 (Lowes) (22) an edge in convenience, while better grates and long-warranty burners make the Char-Broil Commercial Series 463251705 (Lowes) (23) better-built overall.

I could have purchased one that was assembled but didn't think it would fit in the car I was driving so I opted for one in the box. Turns out that didn't fit either so I had my neighbor's son drive me over there to pick it up. I would have just rented one of their trucks for $20 if he wasn't there to help me though.

Assembly was as easy as unpacking it and turning 4 screws on each side to mount the side shelves. It was almost completely assembled already.

Weber is probably the best (at least in that price range), though if you want gas, you will have to wait until fall to get a nice one for under $200.

I own a Kenmore that's actually a rebadged Weber that I got a couple of years ago. It has been very good to me so far. Lots of the Kenmore grills nowadays are rebadges of Charbroal grills though, which IMO, aren't as good as Weber.
