so i walk outside to move my car this fine evening and i cant help but notice there is a shopping cart on my front lawn.
im going to go out on a limb and assume it is the new neighborhood kids (who have just recently come of the hellian age). im guessing it them becuase they have been sneaking into another neighbors backyard to swim in his pool when he isnt around.

i want this cart gone, i dont *know* these kids did it. i dont know them (they are new to the area) so even if i was pretty sure they did, im not too comfortable knocking on doors and being that crazy dude on the block bothering people about what their kids may or may not have done.
but i sure as hell aint going cross town to return this thing.

any suggestions how i can get rid of it?
i was thinking of calling up the store it belongs to.

Line it with plastic, and make it into a flower garden (in true redneck style).

Push it over into your neighbor's yard and let him worry about it.

thats the first thing i thought.
whats more, the dude next to me came home right before i noticed it and i cant help but think it was blocking his driveway, he simply pushed it out of the way to get in so he could unpack and forgot about it.

I remember back in school, one of my friends had this old beater LTD. Thing must have weighed 3 tons, was about 18 feet long... a land yacht. He's going on a commercial (business) highway at like 50mph, and some kids push a cart from the grocery store out into the street. He hit it with the front right bumper and that thing FLEW. It was freakin hilarious... It didn't kill anyone.

Reminds me of a similar situation that happened at work. There was a shopping cart in back and we had UPS delivering some packages. After talking a bit we agreed that it would be hilarious to see him floor his brown truck towards the shopping cart. The cart literally flew through the air and landed near the back of another store. LOL.. there was someone throwing out trash at the other store and just picked up the cart and pushed it to the side like nothing happened.

Get a long rope.... Tie it to the back of said neighbors car. Next time your neighbor leaves, the shopping cart problem will disappear. :D
(I recently did that to a coworker with about 100 gallon sized cans - it was hilarious watching them go down the street, swinging into the oncoming lane as he went around a turn, bouncing of the curb, sparks flying everywhere. )
