My friend went out and bought a $20 mini 1.5 gallon shop vac. Any experience with these for car cleaning? Are they just as good as the big ones? I ask because my other friend shelled out a lot for his 5 gallon one and I think a small one is enough if its powerful too...

Great vacuum for the price. Plenty of suction and very portable. No need for a larger one for cleaning cars IMHO.
