I shop at Target.

I make a point NEVER to shop at Walmart. Call me an isolationist, but a retail chain which strongarms it's suppliers to obtain goods from China is not helping our economy. I vote with my dollar...

Target, if I have the choice, which I normally don't. They're building one close though. You're right about the chicks. The calibre of individual at Target > Walmart. Walmart is full of a lot of poor people and ugly people, but target has less crowding, plus due to its prices it's got richer people, and we all know that all things even, richer people are more attractive than ugly people (don't believe me, go to a high-cost beauty salon and then go to a meal hall).

So Target has less items from China than Walmart?

I go to Target all the time because it much more Up Scale. We seldom go to Walmart unless there's something specific we need there.

Target > Walmart
Target may not be perfect but their treatment of employees, and public policies is far better than Walmart.
Targets are cleaner and have a better selection.
I've found price differences are piddling. My deoderant that sells for $1.99 at Target sells for $1.97 at Walmart. A bottle of the shower soap I use sells for $1.99 at Target goes for over $2 at Walmart. As for electronics an item that sells at Target for say $299 usually sells at Walmart for $298.

Sure Walmart offers low prices initially but once they've gotten into an area and ran everyone else out of business they jack up their prices and are no cheaper than anyone else.

Yeah, I've found the price differences to be next to nothing for identical items, and for non-identical items, you might pay more at Target, but you get much nicer things.

.

Wrong! My wife is in retail management and she can attest that Target is no better than Walmart in treating their staff.

Yes they also provide health insurance to all employees and pay more than the average wage for retail clerks.

I shop at walmart because It is three blocks from the house and my wife works there so I get 10% off

Walmart is American born and bred.

I choose American.

Which French company is that?

(I'm asking you to back up your statement because I'm pretty sure you're wrong.)

We only have one Walmart in my area... it's always friggin crowded. Couple of big Targets so that's where I tend to go, quieter and more space for stuff.

walmart for better prices but Target is cleaner ... and definitely more attractive in that sense you mention.

I think you may have misunderstood my question because your answer makes no sense.

Bahhhhh, I have been duped.

I apologize for my mistake. A little research would have revealed that Target is indeed and American Corporation formed by the merger of Dayton and Hudson corporations back in the 60s.

Again, I'm sorry.
