isn't 50 feet awfully close for a rifle?

I know nothing about guns. I know i had a great uncle who was a nasty shot, best in the NYPD, whatever that award is called, and after he was a cop he was a personal body guard for mad politicians and stuff 😉

50 feet is standard length for a smallbore range.

edit: it's accurate for 200 yards, but why? at more than 50 yards, i think i'd want something that'll break skin. 😛
 
I was just wondering, cuz people who shoot a lot are dead accurate from what I've seen, and 50 feet is nothing. I'd think that it'd be like, who took the least amount of time to get that perfect score, and the winners would be seperated by .04 seconds 🙂

Anyhow, the only time I've gone shooting, the dude tricked us to make us harder and we were shooting pistols at rifle targets at like 2 or 3 times as far away as the targets were for. Hard to see if you even hit it. bastard 🙂

Fun though, i was little and the kick from the first shot with a .45 nearly drove my fists into my forehead and knocked me unconscious 🙂 Good times, good times.

dude. that's why you start out with a .22 😛


you gotta learn these things... it takes time.

and you do timed matches. everyone has to get within the specified time.

i always finish in about half the time and get a free burger.
