I am curious what type of guns and more importantly rounds are they using?
22 i think
I really need to learn to use wikipedia more. Thanks!
Shooting/skiing in Olympics, what do they shoot?
What's really cool about the 22 round is it's really cheap so you can plink but because it's used in international competition, there are companies that take it very seriously and make great rounds for it. So you can get like 3 cent a round bullets or 75 cent a round bullets and everything in between.

I noticed that as well. Looked like 22. The action was weird. They would slide the bolt with their shooting hand thumb.
It's a little-known and highly guarded secret that in the competition, the targets are actually losers from the other events...
I think they use gymnasts from the summer games. They make a tougher target :^D
