Some of my favorite games were: Castle Wolfenstein, Doom, Duke Nukem, and the such.

What other games like the above (Shoot-em-up) can you recommend?

Remember I only have a P266 with 64 megs of RAM and a older Diamond Stealth 2000 video card (Not 3d).

 
Try any of the Quakes or Unreal, Half-life, and one on the level of Duke Nukem, that was a blast was Redneck Rampage.
