Shogun Fall of the Samurai

Anyone playing this? I loved Shogun and Rise of the Samurai (with and without mods), and I might as well say that I have in fact whored myself out to every Total War game. However, Empire really didn't do it for me (battles were boring, campaign had no tension). I'm worried this new game has a blend of Empire to it. Anyone playing?

Is it an expansion/DLC to Shogun 2? Or a completely separate game?

I'm still playing Empire TW, but I'm getting the itch to move on to Shogun 2.

"Standalone" expansion. You do not need Shogon 2 to play it.

Game is sweet. By far my favorite of the trifecta. The artillery / musket combat finally feels "right". It doesn't feel nearly as sterile as Empire.

I hope their next game is one of 3 things:

1. An uber fantasy simulation. Let's be honest. This engine + fireballs, dragons, and acid clouds would be amazing. AMAZING.
Jesus, what I would give for a heavily polished Master of Magic in the Total War engine.

2. West-ward expansion. French Indian War + Spanish American war would fit this perfectly.

3. Some kind of Civil War campaign would be awesome as well. Mix in some heavy RPG elements. BAM. Sweetness.
