Are they getting dirty?

I've used nothing but Kiwi paste since learning to polish boots in the Army. It's not really that hard but you do have to keep up with them. I usually polish my shoes every couple of days. I keep a brush and some polish in my desk drawer and can polish my shoes in a couple of minutes when I am having my morning caffeine.

Kiwi paste, Apply.
Melt into shoe with lighter (flame).
Buff out to high gloss.
Spit/water and buff even higher.

Spit polish with kiwi..

Takes time and patience..

That's how I used to polish my military boots.. if you spit shine, it wall harden and will last longer..

When I was in the army I bought a can of "Ostrich" from some guy in a street stand next to the PX. It was alot cheaper and came in a huge tin. It worked very well. I used it for the last year of my enlistment. As well as another 3+ years in the Natl' Guard. All on the same tin! I don't know if you can still get the stuff now though, I have not heard of or seen it in stores since.
