You gotta past the first round first. Don't overlook the T-pups, especially in a 7-game first round series.

im not really shocked. suns have posed a problem for san antonio during the regular season. great game, though.

blazers are leading mavs right now. im expecting the bottom four to take out the top four, with probably the exception of the utah/kings series.

Every analyst known to man picked the Spurs to cruise through the series, guess they don't put much stock in past results! :D

no, SINCE IT IS A 7 GAME series, it favors the lakers more..if it was a 5 games series, i'd be concerned.....i think the only team capable of playing the lakers in a 7 game series is the spurs or the kings....t-pups might steal a game or two, but not the series...

amare definitely deserves ROY. Marbury finally took a shot at the end of a game. That OT game against the Lakers, he passed it up twice. I'd like to see Phoenix take out the Spurs. I think the Blazers can take the Mavs out. Though, I think the Mavs may match up better against the Kings in the 2nd round.

I'd be pretty happy with a Lakers -Suns 2nd round matchup. Lakers in 5. Not that I'm discounting the T-wolves, I just don't think that they can beat the Lakers 4 times in 7 tries, I think it'll go 6 at the max, they have nothing to answer to Shaq.

it's too bad the first round isn't still best of 5. the lakers could get a break like they did in 2000 when they faced phoenix instead of the spurs in the second round.

but no way phoenix beats the spurs in 7.

San Antonio has had trouble with the Suns all year this is no different, they have no answer for Marbury. The wins during the regular season weren't flukes either so I could see the Suns taking the series but itis highly doubtful, this win seemed pretty lucky.

But it doesn't matter in the end cause the Lakers are gonna win it all.

On Friday at work, a couple of us talked about how the Suns would probably take this series. I think they have the Spurs' number this year.

If the Lakers can't beat those teams, they don't deserve to be world champs.

I seriously think Suns will beat Spurs.

I know Dallas will beat Portland, but I'm not sure about the Kings/Utah series. I'm thinking Stockton and Malone have one last hurrah.
