"Shocker and awe" a success - pretty funny

there is a joke there. It is a weak attempt at being "subtle". It is so obvious the subtlety is lost. The underlying humor is so bad that it fails.

I assume you are the kind of people that don't like the onion or never read spy magazine. I think its excellent. Get past the shocker part - the photo was funny but kind of easy. Read the Bennett and embed articles and show me where you can find better political humor on the net (or even in print). I don't have anything invested here, but honestly, my friends and I think this is pretty good stuff - but maybe because we have actually read the real weekly standard and like the onion.
