OP,

Good job on the weight loss!

Are you lifting? Because it looks like you've also lost some muscle mass as well.

Be careful, or you'll end up being a stick-boy.

Congrats!! I've dropped about 45 lbs in the last year or so. It was all diet though. I need an exercise plan.

Isn't hydroxicut just one of those products that helps eliminate all the stored up water (as if I remember, it accounts for around 10-ish pounds)... you know, like those "Hollywood Miracle Diets" that you see in Wal-Mart? :p

I agree that I've probably cut my calories way too low. To combat that, when I get to the look I desire, I will add on about 100 Cal a day per week until I see weight gain, then I will back it off and keep it at the level that holds me constant. I don't plan on "stopping" my diet ever, I will manage myself after my Shock and Awe phase.

Yeah, I'm lifting. I haven't lost any strength, yet... my muscles probably look smaller because of the fat loss around them.

So you are lifting for maintenece only? Not trying to gain any strength?

Correct, I'm happy with my strength. I lift 2 days a week for about 1.5 hours or so each time.

Wow, 6'1" 195? That's where I'd LOVE to be. I'm 6'1" 220 right now. :( I WAS 209 this past summer. But 205 is a reasonable weight for me....I'm a bit wider than the OP.

I have seen some pretty good results so far, so I wanted to post my strategy:

Step 1: Be committed
Step 2: Limit your calories ( I cut mine to a max of 1500-1700/day when I was getting 3000+). Calculators suggest I take 3100 for my bodyweight. I'm 6'1" and 195lbs right now.
Step 3: Add a bit more of workout. My modification was only two 15 min sessions of cardio a week, I really didn't bump up my workout routine much at all.
Step 4: Take a multivitamin.
Step 5: Take Hydroxycut (with the money you save on food, it pays for it). I'm not sure if I would have seen the same results without it, but without it, I couldn't call it Shock and Awe.
Step 6: Stay committed.

I am only 23 days into it and I have seen some pretty drastic results for just over 3 weeks. It really isn't that hard to do.

What is your total workout routine (for those of us who don't know you well)?

Wow, good work man. I've been at it for 2 years now and I'm down to 168lbs from an initial weight of 274lbs. I work out like a fiend and am VERY responsible with my diet.

I don't have any shirt off pics, but I have visible and highly defined abs for the first time in my life!!! :) Some time this year I'll put my new body to the test in an oly distance triathlon.
