This is a subwoofer driver (no box or amp), and it comes well recommended over in the DIY forums at AVS. I bought one at full price, and it sounds great. Shipping was ~$30 for me in the Midwest.

This works well with around ~200 to ~600W amplifier, and works in a sealed box ~2.5 cu ft or more. Ported/vented arrangements also work. There are plenty of threads on this driver at avsforum.com and simple directions in the application notes.
