Shit, constant beeps, no video, no post

Any idea? I'm afraid the MB might be dead.

Make sure everything is plugged in, even with a dead GPU and faulty RAM chances are it won't make beeping noises as long as it can detect something is actually there.

Have you tried running with only the CPU + cooler, 1 stick of RAM, and off the on-board video (assuming you have that)?

It was working fine before. All I did was reseat the CPU cooler.

Try double checking all the connections and making sure the RAM and video card are properly seated.

Looks like one of the RAM sticks decided to go bad.

OKay, update, It appears that the motherbaord only holds one stick of either piece of ram.

So it looks like the MB shorted out a ram slot?

There's a chance of that, your board has 4 DIMM slots yes? Try running them in 2 and 4 instead of 1 and 3?

New problem: windows won't start. it also doesn't recognize one of the hard drives.

It appears that if I try to seat the RAM in dual channel it will not work.

but if I seat the RAM in like 1+3 it will.

You are aware that 1+3 or 2+4 is dual channel right? 1+2 is just 2 sticks as far as the motherboard is concerned.

Make sure to re-check ALL of the connections as it sounds like things are just popping loose left and right.

Depending upon what sort of system the OP has, a dead video card or bad memory certainly will elicit fault code beeps from the motherboard and prevent booting.
