shipping tracking?/

hey guys quick question. I've always been a USPS person. But recently i've found out that sending bigger items thru fedex and UPS cost just about the same. But is tracking always included ?

I can't find a option for tracking on either UPS or FEDEX's sites so i assume tracking is already included with the rates? is that true
 
i'm sending some items around the states and canada 2lb items and currently researching my shipping options. I found UPS, and Fedex to have simliar prices to USPS. If that case i rather go thru Fedex and UPS ppl if tracking is included in those rates that i got quoted with. I went to the bottom of all the pages and i didn't notice a tracking option. So i do hope that tracking is included.

Do they have any special requests like on how you shipp the boxes. Like they perfer brown paper boxes or something in that nature. USPS has some odd guidelines at times like no ducktape
