Shipping to Canada

I live in Canada and I want to buy a soundcard from another member in the for sale forum... anyways, they pm'ed me and asked me what is involved in shipping to Canada.. like what is different from shipping within the US. I couldn't really tell them much, as I never shipped to Canada from the US before 🙂 .. so maybe you guys could explain and I can point them to this thread.
