Shipping to canada via usps...help plz

ok, ive been looking around, and I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what type of border fees I would get on a used laptop sent to canada. I heard Usps airmail is the best for fees in this regard...but could anyone give me a guesstimate as to what I would be charged for a $300 US laptop? thanks

For USPS --> Canada Post, the brokerage fees are only $5 Canadian.

However, the receiver *might* be hit with tax on the stuff. You can mark "gift" to avoid tax, that may or may not work, even with a used item I'm thinking.
