Shipping tape, what kind do you use?

I picked up this $5.00 roll from Office Depot and it says its the strongest sticking tape however it doesn't stick for crap. What brand do you use? I'm looking for some industrial type stuff lol.

3M clear packing tape, the type you can get in packs of 6 (or 8?) rolls at Sam's Club.

Having worked in shipping and receiving, and being a notorious cheapskate, I can tell you that cheap tape sucks. 3M is the shiz.

That's what we use here at work. I used to have a tape gun w/ Scotch packing tape and it blew. Basically it was just a really wide roll of normal Scotch tape and didn't stick worth a damn.

From what I just gathered it says that Scotch is made by 3M.

Last time I was ordering supplies, they weren't oiffering the tape anymore. Good thing I have about 15 rolls.

We use kraft tape at work, although that's not an option for most people. You could also buy strapping tape (comes in varieties up to 380lb tensile strength), but that's probably not an option. 3M carton sealing tape works fairly well.

This is true. I use Scotch Packaging Super Strength.. this is the one that they sell in bulk at sam's club and costco.
