When I print prepaid labels, the instructions tell me to put the labels inside some sort of pooch. Is it okay just to tape or glue the labels on the boxes instead of using those shipping pooches?

pouch. check your dictionary.

just use clear tape. if they cant scan it, they can go to manual.

Sorry I thought it was pooch not pouch. In any case, if I do use clear tape, do I need to cover the whole label, or just around the borders? (i.e. for water proofing)

cover the whole thing. you do not want the label getting caught on a loader or belt and getting stripped off and then having to call overgoods.

You can use clear tape, but don't cover the barcode on the shiping label.

yes, i need to as well. the pooch can read and transport your package by the most technological means available: dogsled.
