Shipping problem, need advice

I ordered something, the company I ordered from shipped to my exact address but specified US as the Country instead of Canada. What is going to happen to the order? Will the shipping company notice the mistake and deliver it to the right country?

How could they ship to the US? We don't have the same country/provinces as you, and we sure as hell use a different zip code numbering system. If they shipped via UPS or FedEx or something of the like, they had to have caught it before it even left the sort facility.

I didn't get a tracking number. The shipping company is called BIS Mail, never heard of it before. Company I ordered from is in Ireland.

Guess I will contact the company I ordered from and see what they can do

if it's from ireland, you can bet that they're gonna send it to the US first and then when the folks in the US post office realize that it's intended for canada, they may redirect it.

call the ordering people and tell them they're idiots. have them ship a new one out in the interim, since it will probably get to you faster provided they actually put "canada" on it this time (you can do "return to sender" when the delayed package arrives)

I can empathize with your dilemma, as I loathe when those potato farmers send my leprechaun pr0n to the wrong country.

I contacted the company, here is what they said:

Hello Jayme,

Thank you for your email earlier bringing the matter to our attention, apologies for any inconvenience caused.
We have rectified the matter immediately and can confirm that your order is being sent to the following address:-
xxxxx
xxxxx

Canada

I trust this is in order Jayme and offer kind regards and best wishes for a pleasant evening ahead.

Great customer service!
