Shipping giant printers

I have a few large printers to sell (plotter, floorstanding laser, etc.) but I'm unsure how to ship them. I do not have boxes or pallets for any of them, so I would like to find a place that would provide this, if necessary. I've heard bad things about UPS not being kind to their packages, so many people use a dedicated freight company. Unfortunately I don't even know the name of one. Any links / info to get me started would be great.

sold a freezer for a relative once, and remember looking into this.. the cost is so prohibitive, it's not even worth it..

just do a local pick-up only.

I would say that the cheapest way to ship large items is by freight truck.

One of these printers, a DesignJet 800, would be worthwhile to ship. It's smaller than a refrigerator (so are the other printers) so the cost may not be as prohibitive. I'm trying to get a ballpark figure (or a site that lets you get quotes online). I already know that freight truck is likely the way to go. Any recommendations?
