i need to send a package to a friend and was thinking of shipping via UPS since theres a Staples nearby which does UPS shipping. i was planning on setting up the package info and paying for it online, putting on the shipping label, and then dropping it off at the staples. would that be possible (and would i be assessed a fee)? or do i have to set up the order at the staples itself and do they charge a higher rate to send packages than the actual UPS rate?
also, i don't have a scale at home, so i'm guesstimating (took the original shipping weight when i ordered the item initially and divided by 2 since i ordered two of the same item) the weight of the package, but if i'm overweight from what i set it up for online, would there be a problem?
btw, i could probably avoid this by scheduling a pickup, but do fedex or ups charge for pickup service?
