Shipping an Empty CO2 Canister

I'm selling both of my CO2 canisters cause I recently got a compressed air tank for my Paintball gun. They are completley empty (so empty I can push the release pin with my finger...). Do I need to declare anything special about that package when I ship it (such as hazardous goods...)?

Unless you already have a prepaid box out home, I don't think it's going to kill you to just ask while you're there. But the answer is no anyway.

I don't use prepaid boxes, plus these won't fit in one anyways...Print the paid postage off paypal, and hand the Mailman the package.

i'd take the burst discs off and let them have a paintball shop put them back on when they get the tanks filled. i'd say remove the head assemblies but then some idiot will put them back on wrong and they'll end up killing themselves.

edit: this is more of a courtesy type thing and just a good precaution than anything else. when i fly with my gear (compressed air) i have to completely remove the bottles from the heads, but in this case just removing the burst discs should be enough.
