What do I need to ship my AMD T-bird socket A processor in? I no longer have its original packaging and I need to ship this thing out b4 Friday. Please let me know what and where to get what I need. Thanks all.

put it in a static bag, then put it in a box with peanuts around it, or if you have it, foam would be best with a little groove cut out for the chip to rest in...

What about wraping it up in bubble wrap? Always but it in an antistaic bag though.

its a socket cpu so it must have lot of pins. If u can try to find a plastic container that's little bit lager then cpu. Then place some sort of black underneath the cpu that's deeper then pins and that would fit between the pins. seal the container tight so cpu doesnt move around. Then place it in larger box filled with packing peanuts or airbubble cussion. Seal it well and that should be fine.

Try to imitatehow it originaly came, and the most important thing would be to make sure there are no pressure on pins in anyway because that'll be the most likely part to be damaged as cpu is rather light and with layer of packing peanuts it should be fine.
