I used to drop off bulk mail at the USPS office and I have seen packages with baby chickens and honey bees. Havn't seen any with dogs.

I shipped my dog from California to Oklahoma a few years back on the airlines and I think they charged about $150 for it. Puppy was a little upset but got over it real quick.
