Shipping a computer

Hello guys,

i'm building a friend a computer who lives down in California, i'm up in Seattle.

My question is, how do a package the computer so that it won't get damaged shipping? I plan to put the computer back in the box the case came in, but is there anything else special I should do?

Thanks for your help.

Maybe you can get a bigger box and wrap the case with some plastic bubbles bag or w/e it's called and put the white fluffy things around the case to keep it from touching the box. Also, don't use UPS ground. Had some problems with them before. They wouldn't pay for the damage that happened while shipping my monitor which I paid shipping insurance for..

Wrap it with styrofoam then ship it in a cardboard box. If the box is too big for this case then add peanuts or bubbles.

Go with FedEx.
