Shipping a Bike

How much would it cost to ship a Bike to Japan. A decent bike here costs a hell of a lot more then it would in the states...
 
You're already there? Too bad. If you were coming from the US you could get a bike shipping box at a shop (for free, they toss them every day) and suck up the $80 airline surcharge.
 
yeah i am really kicking myself for not doing that. I was going to guy this sweet trek 1000 for 350 bucks used....really good deal. But in order for me to get it my parnets would have had to buy it for me and i would have to pay them back. Of course a week before they leave they say "we should have gotten you a bike". Too late now. My parents just game yesterday so they coulod have brought a bike as well. Ugh..
