I apologize (to those who weren't a-holes about it) about the pics. I was more interested in getting the card in my computer than taking award-winning pictures.

Its kinda noisy. Its not too bad though. My new computer is easily quieter than my last one which had 5 80mm panaflos.

Hmm, I'm having problems with Far Cry. No matter what setting I put it on, the textures are yellowish colored and it keeps stalling (freezes for a moment then resumes, then freezes again).

Using driver 61.77, BTW.

I'll try Halo and D3 again and see if I notice anything.

Heh, sorry bout the pics. I'll try and retake some and get better ones (its not the camera, it was me). Guess I got too excited and didn't look at them when uploading.

I got it at Excaliberpc.com

I ended up paying about $435 because I overnighted it so I would have it for the weekend. It was listed for $420 and 2 day would've been only $8 which I originally had, but then there were problems, but a guy named Andy helped me get it in time.

The guy who took care of my order was great. Some dumb@$$ at my bank wouldn't verify my credit card so it was going to get cancelled but he reserved it for me and I got to straighten things out and get it, so I'm very happy.

Considering the overnight shipping and the fact that, near as I can tell, the card is warranted for Ultra speeds, I feel its a great deal.

Well, I put D3 back in and when I went to play it was kinda going slow. I changed lowered the aliasing and went to restart to see if that was the problem, but what had really been the problem is that the cd had autorun while I was playing so it was causing it to slow down. I'm gonna look into what might be causing the Far Cry problems.

Yeah, sorry, I should have mentioned that mine was the last one they had (he told me they had like 300 or so people who were waiting on this card.

Well, ok, just for you guys, I'll pull my card back out and more and better pictures. Also, since my camera can record video, I'll try and get some audio of it running for ya.

I just got the same card from Mwave. The fan is louder than my old Radeon 9700, but it is not bad at all. I just turn up the sound in Doom 3 or Far Cry.

Ok, sorry killermmm. I've had a busy last few days.

I did get some new pics, but haven't had time to get them uploaded.

Also, I tried taking video, but the sound wasn't right at all. It didn't sound anything like it actually does. I'm going to try to see if I can't get it better, but I'm kinda doubtful. For me, the sound isn't bad at all. The fans have a different sound than those of case and cpu heatsink fans. It's not really loud, its just easy to pick out from the combined sound of my system. If I'm playing a game, or doing anything else (I often watch tv, moves, or listen to music while on my computer), I don't notice it at all.
