This is probably old news to most here, but after much frustration, I gave this mod a try, and it made a drastic difference in cleaning up the "floaty" handling this game has been noted for.

If you are fan of GRID and wished Shift2 had similar response characteristics, I think it will make you a lot happier with the game.
