God damnit... I'm watching it on my POS 15" monitor with 2.0 sound (stereo reciever w/ 2 pretty nice speakers)...

Geez, I was all excited but now I'm thinking I'm up for disappointment due to crappy hardware 🙁
 
nah, don't be dissappointed...watch it...then think how much better the enjoyment could've been if you had better hardware..can you watch it on a friend's system or comp? 🙂

watched it tonight too

was an awesome movie, very dramatic and emotional.
 
Drive on down to my crib sometime and watch it.

But seriously, the picture will be damn sharp, and any viewing of such an excellent movie cannot be disappointing (SPR was my choice for Best Picture).
 
Supposedly the DTS version is one of the best sounding DVD's out there. I'd rent it but I found the movie too unsettling for me the first time around 😱
 
saw it theater and dvd, unless you have a really really large tv it just isn't the same😛 seeing big tanks roll around etc.. good stuff.

Yup, it's definately up there, sounds absolutely amazing.
