My son's best friend from childhood is dropping out of high school to work as a BUSBOY to pay for his upcoming parenthood. He is 16 and his girlfriend is pregnant. To me this is where abortion should be used. The kid is probably mortgaging any kind of future he might have had for a lifetime of poverty for himself, his girlfriend and the child. Hopefully I am wrong.

Tell him he is a moron and should stay in school. Baby mama should go on welfare. It's not rocket surgery.

That would be irresponsible.

With my basic income plan, both he and his girlfriend would have a combined wealth of $432,000 from their nest egg and a $2,000 / mo family "income". Maybe that'd be better than aborting the child or suffering in poverty their entire lives.

Where are the parents in all this?
Ultimately they are the ones who have failed.

I grew up around poor folk and immigrants we had a decent amount of pregnancies in the high school at one point.

Normal flow was, kids stay in school and get part time jobs to cover costs of childcare. Parents and children all take part of child care while knocker-upper and knocker-upperee finish up high school and go to college\head off to military.

Some of those "poor souls who blew there future" have already put their kids through college and are now in their 40's with multiple master degrees and a work ethic most only read about.

No they should force the child to carry her baby till full term, wait for mom to fuck it up and then throw mom in jail and the baby in a foster home until it runs away and begins murdering people. THEN we can put it to death. Gotta follow all the steps.
