Dear God, why?

I'm really having a hard time with this. Who was in charge of their safety? Someone obviously should be accountable. This is terrible news. :(

I was just reading an earlier article in P&N so I knew exactly who you were talking about. It's unfortunate. I wonder what they did with her body.

So they arrested 2 black men who had nothing to do with it...

Anyways..

Why the hell would anyone possibly want to kill her?

I wonder that, everytime I read where someone who was convicted of rape, then released, not only rapes again, but then kills the victim. From what I understand, most men who kill women, have been convicted of a sexual crime before. I guess they want to make sure, this time, that the victim can't talk. :(

Now, if I had my way, these kinds of people would never get out on the streets again...no ifs ands or buts.

Yet another tragedy that could of been avoided if the woman had the sense to NOT go places with strange men.

This is why I constantly tell my female family members and friends to NEVER go anyone with a damn stranger, specially if they met them in a club.

Sadly, we live in a world where there's very few people we can trust.

Very true. However, we have to reserve judgement to a certain extent, because we were not there, so we do not know how the situation actually played out and what was said between her, her friends, and these guys.

Very sad story though. I hope whoever was involved in her death (if in fact it turns out she is dead as we believe) is executed in a very painful, slow manner.

Who??? She wasn't a kid, she was 18!!! She should of had better sense than to go off by herself with people she didn't know.

what kind of girls do you think pose on girls gone wild videos?

people do this ALL the time (girl meet stranger in club, have sex, get back safe). I'm sure the numbers of date rapes are high, and in some cases turn into a case like this. it is sad this happend to her. I'm suprised we don't hear more cases like this considering the number of girls who willingly follow strangers home after getting drunk in a club.

Am I to understand this 18 year old kid went to a bar, got loaded, then left with three men to go to the beach?
Hmmm.

She should have been more careful but let's please not let this thread get into one of those, "It's her fault." She was murdered. She was not that idiot Darwin award winner who tried to do a handstand on a railing several floors up from a street.

What I'm curious about is motive.

see the thing is who knows if we have all the information relevant

but if we do, you really hate to say it, but the girl was 18, she should have known better..:(

unless rufinol or something else was involved... she did meet the kid previously a few nights before... we'll never know the whole story but if these kids did kill her... slimebags...

Let's kill us some Arubaiansiss or whatever they're called!!!

j/k, but that really sucks. I wonder what happened.

The media doesnt want to report about people who only got Cs in high school/those that are ugly. This kind of stuff DOES happen all the time. Why pick this case? Because its a fairy tale gone wrong, thats why. And if anyone was really surprised that she was dead, you need to get out of your fantasy land.

I feel awful about what happened to that girl. There's a reason it happened and a lesson to be learned.
18 years old in a bar. Bad things happen.
18 year old drunk. Bad things happen.
18 year old girl drunk. Bad things happen.
18 year old drunk girl in bar leaves to hang on beach with 3 strangers who happen to be men. Bad things happen.
Even consider for a moment that she may have been drugged, threatened or coerced into leaving. Take away the 4 points above and she's not in harm's way.
She put herself in the same position as the retard doing the handstand on the railing.

Which at the time of the report of her missing was their only suspects. Don't turn this into a race issue.

As I understand it, the 2 security guards had some of her stuff in their possession. They're probably dirty, but not killers.

It would be very easy to get lost in Carlos' and Charlie's. Decent sized place, almost all dance floor, wall-to-wall people.
