Shells from Syria being fired at US troops in Iraq

Well this doesn't help at all... its not the Syrian military firing at us, but Rumsfeld had this to say:

"U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld called the Syrians "unhelpful" and accused them of "facilitating terrorists moving back and forth, money moving back and forth" to Iraq. "

I recall Syria dicking around shortly after we finished with the initial invasion. A little aggressive posturing on our part pretty much cowed them into a corner. They know they don't want anything to do with our military, as Iraq's makes theirs look like a couple of Amazons with spears.

Bad things happen when we get into a war we shouldn't be in. Bush's own father warned about these eventualities! Of course, he actually HAS a brain.
Best thing to do is get it cleaned up as quckly as possible and get the fvck out and spend the next several generations repairing the damage Bush has perpetrated on our International standing.

Yeup! More practice for foreign pilots. Mortars are so very WWII ish. We can pinpoint a mortar to within 10 fee based on the trajectory of the shell.

Mortars are easily moved and crewed by 3 or 4 man teams. Easily dispatched.
