This is a pretty decent value card IMO. I recently bought a ASUS 7850 for 112 which was well reviewed. Don't know about this one but its cheap.

Aren't the new AMD cards suppose to come out real soon? I wonder if that will push the 7850's below $100. Still a great price though. So tempting.

The comparable card by AMD commng out is the 260X and will have an MSRP of $139 and AMD says the Firestrike score is around 38xx. The 260X also has true Audio and Mantle etc. Also the FireStrike scores "seem" a bit low, but who knows.

A 7850 can hit over 4K fire strike with an AMD CPU.

Ya, they were $300 when I bought mine :/ Still an awesome card, regardless.

Pretty sexy deal, especially if you pick up 2 :) for $220. Beat 680/770/7970 performance for cheap, and will fit nice and cozy in a micro atx case. Not to mention getting 4 good games to go with it, haha.

Will this card support Mantle? Looking at some benchmarks, this card is pretty hot for $110 (if you get your MIR that is).

great deal, my 7850 with the core cranked up to 1200 ran identical benchmark scores to my 7950 at stock 850mhz core. With good frame pacing support an mild overclocking a pair of these would/should out perform any single chip card on the market.

It should support Mantle. It has the GCN architecture, which I believe is Mantle's prerequisite.

Here's a short bit from this article: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-could-amd-mantle-revolutionise-pc-gaming

"The ramifications could potentially go well beyond upsetting console platform holders. AMD has traditionally championed open source over proprietary code (think OpenCL vs. CUDA) but in the case of Mantle, the firm has been very specific about the fact that Mantle is designed around its own Graphics Core Next (GCN) architecture. Thanks. Mantle when implemented in games will probably give game performance another 15% boost in performance. Just guessing though.

Wow it really makes those APUs look bad. Now we can say with certainty that a $40 budget cpu paired with a $110 discrete gpu can vastly outperform even the most expensive chip with integrated graphics.
