Hey, does any of you music nerds know of any program which turns mp3 music into sheet music? I guess are there any programs which inputs sounds (from the computer's internal sound output) and then decodes those various frequencies into notes which I could read off the screen? Is there such a thing?
 
Yes, programs like that exist. However, it's been years since I've played with one and it was at a friend's house. Couldn't tell you what it was named.
 
yeah, I've seen a program that did this. Although, it didn't do it all that well. It has to be a pretty simple song.
