Is it just me, or is that the worst grammar and spelling you have ever seen by a widely published reputable media source???

Just to quote a couple:

The victim entered the AMF Shirley Lanes on the Green, off William Floyd Parkway, and was following by Rodriguez and another man, Michael Lunsford, 17, of Shirley.

"[The attack] appears to have been done to humiliate as well as assaul this young man," Dormer said.

Not to mention over use of the words "police said"

Don't they have someone PROOFREADING this stuff? My 3 year old nephew could have written a better article than this!

He'll do time, and going by the tender young boyish looks of him, have a really unpleasant stay involving a lot of abuse to his orifices, before attempting to join a hispanic gang for protection, who won't take him cause he's a wuss whose only crimes are terroristic threats, attacking his own mother, and sodomizing a disabled person.

It really seems like he would do crimes again when he gets out, he would still be young.

I wonder how the guy that had this happen to him feels about that? Wonder how any of us would feel? Personally, 25 years is a slap in the face for something that horrific.
