shearing with video...

I have a 7900 GTO and have recently noticed a v-sync problem with video (VLC and winTV). I have not changed anything and cant find an option to sync. Anyone have any suggestions?

right click -> NVIDIA Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Vertical Sync <force on>
