I think my point is being missed here. There's nothing wrong with desiring people in your own age range and there's nothing wrong with critiquing the looks of celebrities. However, I'm not a fan of critising people for things they have no control over. There's no excuse for a woman to let herself go and get fat and sloppy, those things she has some control over..but aging is not a controllable thing...for anyone and it seems kinda low to thump anybody for that.

You always take any post about age way too personally.

Personally? I live in a society that sends women in my age range the message that we're about as valued as a sack of trash.Obviously there's not much I can do to change that except to offer the thought that maybe it's not so nice to critism people for things about themselves over which they have no control, age being one of them.

On a positive note,it was nice to see the OP expressing appreciation for a healthy looking lady🙂

She's very attractive for her age. Yes, she had a boob job (I think that's the extent of it, although I could be wrong) but she looks great even without it. Our agency actually hired her to do commercials for one of our clients who sells family-oriented products since focus group testing found she projected the perfect blend of mom-like, yet everyday sexy qualities better than nearly any other actress. In other words, most people found her to be a prototypical MILF. 🙂

I've only seen a few episodes... and happened to catch one where she faked getting breast implants for Raymond... nice episode. 😀

Although I do agree that Geekbabe has a tendency to take the 'looks' threads personally, but I do see how she could arrive at that. Even the prettiest or hottest girl can really feel the crap you guys pull here. When you're surrounded by guys in a field that's supposed to be primarily for guys and nerdy guys in particular, then you subject yourself to sexist crap from the idiots that don't even have the looks. You feel this urge to defend your sex and feel foreign around the idiots. The irony here is always that almost all of the guys shooting their mouths--in spite of their youthfulness--are too ugly to get a beautiful and classy woman. So at the end it wouldn't matter whether or not the ladies or stars depicted are hot looking . . . 'cuz these guys wouldn't even be their friends. If I were a star (which I do have the premonition that it will happen someday and soon), I wouldn't even give any of you guys who shoot your mouths consideration. Now, don't get me wrong: I do think that constructive criticism exists and it's okay to say that you don't think a woman is attractive. The guys I have an issue with are obvious . . . their words aren't just that and they tend to post sexist crap, albeit under the pretenses of a joke.

Now, go enjoy your ugly chicks . . . as if you had any choices. 😉 😀

Hearing day in and day out that simply being older makes a person "ugly" can kinda get to a person after awhile.I'm not asking anybody to say that they find somebody attractive when they don't and I have no issue with the constant discussion of the appearance of public figures, heck they signed up for it.All I am suggesting is that if you're going to critize somebody's appearance why not base it on factors over which they have some control? Lol,believe it or not tact is a very sexy trait and it can be developed🙂

Your logic is mistaken here in that people do not choose what naturally attracts them. People age, they become less attractive, their bodies wear out as mortality takes its toll and eventually they die. Nature works that way, when we get a certain age we can't reproduce so attraction is no longer necessary at this level anyway. Whether or not we have control of this is irrelevent in judgement. If I were considering you for the job of a pilot, and you had poor vision, I realize that would be out of your control but I still could not give you the job. Some things are just objective like that. Certainly this doesn't mean the person has any less value, but these type of threads aren't about value, generally they're about baseless sexual attraction. If that's not your cup of tea, pass it over. 🙂

You shouldn't take it personally Jean. Why would you care what someone thinks about you on this forum? It is not as if the vast majority of people here will even ever get laid. Just chalk it up to their stupidity and just grin. They are the ones who look stupid.

I'm offering up some food for thought and trying to do it in a civil, respectful way. It's not just about me or about this forum,it's about the entire culture in general.

The biolocially based theory on what constitues sexual attractivess is valid but you're missing an important point.Back not so long ago people often didn't live long enough to get old.Walk thru a few old graveyards and check out the dates on the headstones. Thanks to modern medicine we're living longer than ever before and in many cases in a far healthier, more attive fashion than our grandparents did.In fact the US Life Expectancy charts were fairly recently once again updated. The need for intimacy, love and sexual expression doesn't just dry up and die simply because we can no longer reproduce. On the contary I can tell you that as long as you stay healthy and fit, those desires are stronger than ever and can be more satisfying than they were when folks were younger. It just seems strange,as more and more of us live to be older and older we assign a negative value to ourselves as a culture, youthful beauty should and is prized but does this mean that there's no room for any other kind of beauty even if it's just celebration of living long and well?the whole thing just makes no sense.

Btw,I recently saw an article about Pussy Galore, yeap the "Bond Girl" she's 76 now and I'll tell you,I hope to look that good when I get to that age.
