She broke up with me (again)

Hey guys. I was away all day getting drunk. It is NOT aprils fool's joke (though I made THAT joke to her). unfortunetly its true. I know that its really over. Its hard when someone comes back that you still have feelings for annd she says she really made a mistake and begs you for another chance.

i doubt she is doing some other guy-she is very very religous and that is part of the problem. She wants to walk in Christ'S footsteps and thinks that she can't be in a relationship and she expolores the scripture and what god's path is for her.

She does suck.

It all kind of blows-like this post. i'm sorry its not annswering more of what you guys said-i'm just really wasted. Good night and thanks to all for the kind words. I know I just need to be strong and find someone else

BTW i'm not in high school. I'm 26 and been through plenty of relationships-which is kind of why this is so hard, because I really felt it was different and she made me believe in *us* when she came back.

It especially sucks that she didn't really have such a bad reason to break up. It would be much easier if she wanted to date someone else - then you could be mad at her, and anger helps you deal with the loss, if you don't go overboard with it.

It will get easier with time, hang in there.

You are so right. i keep trying to find a way to get really angry, but its so hard to when I kind of understand. She's just in such a different place with different focus.

I hope your right about the easier part too.

Yeah, I do. She is a very sweet girl. She is in school still and her free time is all spent in scripture readings and social groups like acting against homelessness and starting a community home for the poor and things of that nature. I think she just isn't in a place for a real relationship and she knew that I couldn't be a part of all of that because I have a full time job and everything.

She really has other focuses right now.
