If Pelosi and Reid were to spontaneously combust tonight in their beds, you guys would just pick another target, the names are completely interchangeable, as long as there's a D on the end of the name, the levels of animosity would remain constant.

You certainly wouldn't hate Obama any less.

The funny thing is you guys don't even know why you don't like her, I've yet to hear anything aside from adhoms and we've been at this for a while now.

I'll start off first, I don't like Sarah Palin because she's grating and ill-informed.

You don't like Nancy Pelosi because.....<please fill in the blanks for me>

She is a power-hungry conniving bitch? I realize that's a bit subjective and doesn't get into specifics. Much like Bush looking into Putin's eyes, I see it when I look into hers.

'Horrible Woman' brings up images of Ann Coulter imho.

But yeah, I'm no Pelosi fan, I think the dems have much better leaders than her.

The difference is Sarah Palin is now a concerned citizen.. Nancy Pelosi has her hand up Obama's ass controlling (bad) policy.

I have, since becoming voting age, cast my ballot for several Democrats. I vote for the person and their beliefs, or at least what they claim their beliefs are, not the party.

Don't blame me, I voted for Hillary! Now, granted.. I crossed over and voted in the democrat primary because McCain was already the Republican nominee by the time my state voted. But I knew Obama was selling a line of BS to the American people.

Oh I know. Where in the hell do I start.

She puts her personal interests before the interests of the nation. Demanding a larger plane for herself comes to mind. Oh, yes, her staff did a lot of damage control in that regard but it was too little too late.

Her support of the invasion of Iraq was criminal. She fell for a load of shit hook line and sinker. Her flip flops later on were however priceless.

Her lie about "draining the swamp". I'm still waiting for that process to start.

Regarding the health care debate she said; "There has never been a more open process for any legislation," raises several issues for me. Does she truly believe it - in which case she is delusional. Or is it just a bold faced lie which fits into her sociopathic profile?

Her methods of steamrolling legislation through Congress with behind closed door negotiations, back door deals, etc. Remember, she was on board with the transparency promises.

She was on board for waterboarding, etc. too and then told lie after lie after lie to cover her ass. I think she reached the point she even believed her own lies.

Anyone who has been around an individual with mental illness for any length of time learns to recognize the behavior patterns. My alarm bells start going off nearly anytime I watch her. This woman is not right at all and the scariest thing is that she's third in line for the presidency.

If she was just a Senator I could care less what her issues are as she doesn't represent me. As Speaker of the House, I'm deeply concerned.

Nobody knows why they don't like her. When people do answer, it's things like "power-hungry", "conniving", "back room dealer", "flip flopper" etc. Congratulations, you've just listed four characteristics shared by every House Speaker in the history of the country.

People don't like women with strong opinions that are contrary to theirs. It's equally true with Dems and Palin.

OK, let's run with your statement. Could you list what you would deem to be valid criteria for 'not liking someone'?

Bull. I like Palin, though I probably wouldn't vote for her. I like Kay Baily Hutchinson. I like Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, and Camille Paglia - three very strong, very opinionated women with whom I often disagree. I used to like Kirstin Gillibrand, until she moved to the big stage and (like every politician sensing opportunity) changed what she purported to hold as her core beliefs for political advantage. I love strong women. My wife is a strong woman.

As to Pelosi, she is fundamentally dishonest even by politician levels. She maneuvers bills for personal gain. She is vain, totally consumed with her personal perks (such as a larger, fancier plane.) She allows lobbyists to craft legislation in secret and tries to have it voted in before anyone except a select few have even read the bill - and then proclaims it "the most open debate ever". The only people who shouldn't despise Pelosi are those who expect her to take from others and give to them - assuming you have no moral problems with that. Her qualities might well describe most Speakers, but there's no good reason I can't dislike most or even all Speakers.

She is a power-hungry

Oh. The #2 person in line for the presidency is power-hungry. That's sure different than any other top national politicians, who don't want power.

Since you use it as such a criticism you know about, why don't you provide us the evidence of how she is power hungry', how it is harmful?

conniving

Oh. A top politician is "conniving". I'm sure glad other top politicians aren't conniving. Not lke those Tom DeLay types, no conniving there.

Since you liist it as an attack you know, why don't you tell us the evidence she is "conniving" and the harm it does?

bitch?
I translate that from you as "female". Yes, she is.

Since you list it as an attack you know, why don't you list the evidence she is a "bitch" and the harm it causes.

I realize that's a bit subjective and doesn't get into specifics.

Then why do you post things you don't know that lack specifcis and any even case for subjective?

If you're at a lineup, do you say "I don't recognize anyone, but I'll say #1 did it based on looking at him?

You post baseless idiocy, you admit that. You need to think about the reason - I suggets you look at your behaving like someone propagandized. These 'feeling's of hate are pupmed into you.

Much like Bush looking into Putin's eyes, I see it when I look into hers.

He was wrong. You use him as a good example to justify yourself doing wrong?

Nancy Pelosi is an excellent leader, the best speaker we've had in a long time. I like her better than Reid or Obama. I have a long list of her actions, getting good things passed in the house, as the basis.

You are posting idiocy. Think about it, if you want to not do that.

Oh I know. Where in the hell do I start.

Where you are. The gutter.

She puts her personal interests before the interests of the nation. Demanding a larger plane for herself comes to mind. Oh, yes, her staff did a lot of damage control in that regard but it was too little too late.

You make a generalization like 'puts her interests ahead of the country based on THAT? That's dihnonesty and idiocy.

You know who puts their interests ahead of the country? Previous speakers who sell out the public interest on policy because their agenda is to help those people and reap the political benefits. Not her.

The previous speaker had access to a plane for a nonstop flight from their home to Washington. She lives further and the same plane would have to make a stop on the way. She asked for a nonstop, IIRC.

She's second in line for the presidency. #1 and the President have Air Force One and Air Force 2. She wasn't looking for that exhorbitant luxury. She heads the House and avoiding a stop is a good idea.

Many people try to fly non-stop to save the time. So should the Speaker.

You turn that very reasonable request into a very strong attack that's a lie.

You are bevaving in a disgusting manner.

Her support of the invasion of Iraq was criminal. She fell for a load of shit hook line and sinker. Her flip flops later on were however priceless.

Cut and paste. She did not vote for war. She voted for a measure to get the inspectors back in. Bush lied. You ignore the facts and lie again.

Her lie about "draining the swamp". I'm still waiting for that process to start.

Don't know that.

Regarding the health care debate she said; "There has never been a more open process for any legislation," raises several issues for me. Does she truly believe it - in which case she is delusional. Or is it just a bold faced lie which fits into her sociopathic profile?

You lie and lie and lie and lie. Your behavior is disgusting.

Have you compared the transparency of this process to other similar legislation in the past? Can you demonstrate others that had more transparency? You did not provide any evidence for your claim.

The transparency not being as high as many would like doesn't make the previous examples more transparent. You were likely too busy ignoring the lack of transparency for Republicans.

Her methods of steamrolling legislation through Congress with behind closed door negotiations, back door deals, etc. Remember, she was on board with the transparency promises.

She has increased transparency, whatever the remaining problems. You don't mention that of course. That would take honesty and having any idea what the facts are.

She was on board for waterboarding, etc. too and then told lie after lie after lie to cover her ass. I think she reached the point she even believed her own lies.

Was she "on board" - what is your evidence - or was she minimall informed in very vague statements in extreemely confidential briefings in which she was told "you have no say and cannot repeat anything."

You don't know.

If she was just a Senator I could care less what her issues are as she doesn't represent me. As Speaker of the House, I'm deeply concerned.

http://www.mcafee.cc/Bin/sb.html

You're deeply concerned because you're a dishonest idiot and your views are based on propaganda you parrot. You start out with a conclsion and then look for tiny bits of garbage to support it.

You are like a Stockholm Syndrome person who can't see the problems with speakers on 'your side' by these 'standard', but doesn't know a good speaker when yuo see one.

Like a battered woman who stays with the guy who abusesand beats her, you are not toi be listened to for opinions on leaders.

What actions has she taken that other Speakers have not which make you think she is a power hungry conniving bitch? Do you hate all Speakers of the House?
