I have a mach three. It is way better than my electric (which sucks) but I tend to cut the crap out of my face when I'm drunk with the mach 3. Or when I'm not drunk, for that matter. But it's still the best blade I've ever used.

I really prefer a blade because it's faster and more convenient than an electric razor. For some reason, I always had problems shaving my neck area with electric. If you're using a Mach3 than you probably don't really have sensitive skin...I can't use more than one blade or else my skin will be flaming. In my opinion, stick with the blade.

i have the same problem - really sensitive skin. but electic razors were worse than blades on my skin. my skin became irritated when i used the electric razor. now, i am used to blades and dont intend to use electic again

Gotta use the blade baby. Mach3 and Edge gel w/aloe for sensitive skin. That combo rules.

i actually do a quick run-through with an electric..then finish up with a mach3 and some gel...works pretty well

i CANNOT use a blade under my nose though...only an electric razor...my skin is WAY to sensitive right there

I am using Gilette Sensor Excel blades right now. I had a top of the line Braun electric that I was quite fond of, but all of the sudden it won't take a charge. I'm kinda pissed as I just spent $30 for a new cutter/foil assembly for the damn thing.

Blade's are the best. It gives you a really close shave, and it's so smooth I love it. Electric can't get as close, and sometimes my skin itches afterwards. The only reason why electric is used is because it isn't as messy.

That reminds me, I haven't shaved for a couple of days and I look a bit mottly.

Hey, women shave too, but I've never seen them use electric. I wonder if some do. Women have a lot of shaving to do, there's so much more surface area on the legs. Growl, I love womens smooth legs. :p

The cheap bastards use Ni-MH or Ni-Ca battaries instead of Li-Ion so the recharchability can die after a while. The trick to maintaining recharchability is to completely drain the charge and then charge it back up. The Ni-MH and Ni-Ca batteries can retain a 'memory' where if you don't completely drain the battery it might not allow you to charge it up completey.

w/ water i didn't find it to hurt that much. and i think i wouldn't get these red spots if blade is 'sharp enough'
just dun want the red stuff and skin going nuts.

The best combo for me is Mach3 and Clinique for men Cream Shave. This cream gets me the closest shave without a hint of skin being irritated at all.

switched from a sensor XL to a mach 3 a couple weeks ago... man... that mach 3 is awesome... haven't nicked myself yet.

of course... i don't have sensitive skin... i can shave against the grain no problem... it helps that i shave in the shower so i've already been in hot water for 5 minutes and used soap.
