Whenever I see O'Donnell, I get this urge to slap the backside of her head really hard in the hopes that she somehow regains whatever intelligence she somehow lost when she was an adolescent.

Whenever I see Reid, I get this urge to ask him to go find the testicles that got taken from him by those marauding Blue Dogs that he has absolutely no control over.

Whenever I put those two side by side, I get the urge to bitch slap both of them in the hopes that each thought the other did it and this screeching girlie-man fight erupts between the two. I'd put my money on O'Donnell because she's possessed and Reid still hasn't found his testicles yet.

I was under the impression that Senator Reid and Candidate O'Donnell weren't even in the same time zone, much less the same state...

Also, do you have any credible evidence that Senator Reid has ever possessed a set of testicles?

LOL, yeah, it seems like Harry is in the State of Denial and Sharron in a State of Shock that she won her primary.

Oh yeah, I personally saw a couple of Blue Dogs chomping away on'um in a dark corner of a Senate hearing room when the Health Reform Bill was being debated.

Polling trend.

Rasmussen polling commentary says that there was not an immediate change in their numbers after the debate vs. those of three weeks ago, within the margin of error of the polls they conducted.

There is obviously a significant gap that needs to be overcome for O'Donnell to win.

Rs have a singular advantage - how many people will now just pull the lever for the entire slate of Rs just because they are not Ds. Even in Delaware.

Four different polls taken within one week cannot, by definition, constitute a "trend," and these polls reflect an 11-18 point advantage for Coons. That can't possibly be overcome in less than three weeks. If you're seriously going to argue that O'Donnell has a fighting chance in that election it speaks volumes about your credibility to predict electoral results.

Would you like to lay some money on this election? I'd even give you two points.

I think that's usually referred to as a "Donkey Punch."

Reread your original message; you cited Candidate O'Donnell, not Angle.

I don't know what those Blue Dogs were munching, but I've seen no evidence that Senator Reid ever owned a set of testicles; nor have I seen anything to indicate that "Leader" Reid could manage to lead a troop of Cub Scouts into a Pizza Parlor.

Ahhh my bad, thanks for pointing that out. They're both loonies so I tend to get those two mixed up.

OK, you make a convincing argument about Harry's balls. I guess those Blue Dogs must've been snacking on his nutsack seeing as if Harry didn't need it anyway.

What the hell kind of sense does it make to replace a bad senator with this delusional nutball?

I am beginning to wonder the same thing. I don't understand if the people there don't like either, why can't some 3rd party or independent candidate emerge and take over? has the Democratic and Republican party somehow managed to suppress any opposition from getting on the ballet?

Take a bet with a Corleone? I'm not a pazzo! LOL!

I don't see a trend in the Delaware numbers really, at least comparable to the national trend. I think Delawareans are still trying to figure out who Coons and O'Donnell BOTH are. Though Coons is well known in New Castle County, the most populous of the three counties by far, he is still just a name with a D after it in lower, slower DE.

What I do see all over is a rising wave that will sweep Rs into office that may not seem as ideal on paper as their opponents. An extraordinary protest vote, if you will.

There will be outliers, of course, and the Delaware race is likely to be one.

I look forward to the results of the only poll that counts and that is the one on Tuesday, November 2.

I can see Delaware SAYING it's going to vote Pubbie a lot easier than Delaware actually voting Pubbie. And at the moment they aren't even threatening to.

The tea party candidates have hurt the republican cause in some instances, and helped in others. There is no denying that the tea party movement has generated a lot of enthusiasm and got the conservatives in gear. At the same time it has also produced some loony candidates. You win some, you lose some.

I'm guessing come Nov 2, the "win some" column is going to be a lot bigger than the "lose some" column. I can't believe the senate majority leader and multi-term incumbent is neck and neck with a political hack and novice in Angle. That speaks volumes, kind of like someone with an R behind his name winning in MA (Brown) did.

It's not really a sad state of affairs for Nevada...

Nevada is one of the few states that has the "None of the Above" check box option on ballot options.
If I lived there, that is how I would vote.

thats exactly how I'm voting in this race. I may use it for governor as well. Such an awful year here. Sue Louden and Danny Tarkanian were both better choices than Angle but both spent so much time and effort fighting each other people ignored them both and went with Angle.

You'd have to be a moron to think O'Donnell has a chance at beating Coons.
Coons leads by double digits. Nothing will change in the next 2-3 weeks.

I feel your pain Nyker96, the problem is and remains, the third party candidates that emerge manage to be even more stupid and repulsive than the dems and repubs. Its hardly a delicious dilemma and more like a lose lose or lose choice. Hold your nose, and pick the loser of your choice. Heads you lose, tails you lose, and even if the coin lands on its edge we lose.
